Creamy Mushroom & Tuna Bake


Pasta bakes are always a family favourite and so easy to prepare.

Cook time:30 mins

Serves: 4


  • 400g penne pasta
  • 445g jar Leggo’s Scallopini Simmer Sauce
  • 185g can John West Tuna Olive Oil Blend, drained
  • 1/3 cup green stuffed olives, halved
  • 2 tablespoons chopped fresh parsley
  • 1½ cups grated mozzarella cheese
  • Green salad or steamed vegetables, for serving


Step 1

Cook pasta following packet directions. Drain and keep warm.

Step 2

Meanwhile, combine Leggo’s Simmer Sauce, John West Tuna, olives and parsley in a large bowl and season to taste. Add hot cooked pasta and stir thoroughly.

Step 3

Transfer mixture to a greased 30cm x 20cm baking dish. Sprinkle with mozzarella cheese and bake in a preheated oven at 180°C for 30 minutes or until cheese is melted and golden. Stand for 5-10 minutes before serving. Serve with a green salad or steamed vegetables.

Tasty Tip!

Recipe can be preassembled and refrigerated up to 1 day before baking.
